CI Australia has relocated its CBD head office to Level 5, 35 Clarence Street, Sydney.

The new office space features a modern working environment, a mix of meeting and quiet rooms, and an extensive cafe-style breakout area, complete with foosball and billiard tables.

"This is a move that reflects our investment in the current and future success of our business," said CI Chief Executive Officer Andrew Hunter. "Equally importantly, it reflects our investment in our people, and our dedication to ensuring they have a welcoming working environment that nurtures their diverse roles and responsibilities."

While Mr Hunter acknowledged the global adoption of flexible and remote working practices that had been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, he maintained the benefits of the physical office on company culture, connection and performance.

"There's much discussion about what shape the 'future of work' might take, and it's one that might not be clear for some years. With that in mind, we're aiming to provide an accessible and enjoyable space where our employees can thrive when they are in the office. It's increasingly clear that while individual preferences remain about how and where people work best, the benefits of a physical office will remain felt into the future."

CI's CBD office was previously located on Level 4, 35 Clarence Street. The company's North Shore office remains at Level 7, 2 Elizabeth Plaza, North Sydney.
